Adult Pet Wellness

Adult Pet Wellness

Everyday care for adult dogs and cats.

Adult pets need practical, ongoing care that supports their health, comfort, and daily routines.

At Hometown Pet Vet, adult pet wellness is about more than checking a box once a year. These visits help us get to know your pet, monitor changes over time, and talk with you about prevention, nutrition, dental health, behavior, and any concerns you are noticing at home.

Routine Wellness Exams

Regular exams help us follow your pet’s health over time and catch small concerns before they become bigger problems.

Vaccines & Parasite Prevention

We will review your pet’s lifestyle and recommend protection that fits their risk and routine.

Weight & Nutrition Guidance

Healthy weight and nutrition can affect energy, mobility, comfort, and long-term wellness.

Dental Health

Dental checks help us identify plaque, tartar, bad breath, oral discomfort, and other concerns.

Behavior Changes

Changes in appetite, sleep, activity, litter box habits, or mood can be helpful clues about your pet’s health.

Preventive Screening

Lab work or additional screening may be recommended based on age, history, symptoms, or lifestyle.

When to Schedule a Visit

Please schedule a visit if your pet is not eating, vomiting, having diarrhea, coughing, limping, losing weight, drinking more water, acting tired, showing behavior changes, or just not acting like themselves. It is always okay to call or text us with questions.
