If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please contact the nearest emergency or urgent care veterinarian right away.

Hometown Pet Vet provides care during regular business hours. If your pet needs urgent help after hours, or if you believe the situation is life-threatening, please contact one of the emergency or urgent care clinics listed below.

When to Seek Emergency Veterinary Care

Seek Emergency Care Right Away If Your Pet Has:

Breathing, Collapse, Bleeding

  • Trouble breathing
  • Collapse or sudden weakness
  • Heavy bleeding or major injury

Pain, Seizures, Vomiting

  • Seizures
  • Severe pain
  • Repeated vomiting or diarrhea

Urinary, Gums, Toxins

  • Trouble urinating
  • Pale gums
  • Possible toxin, medication, or foreign object ingestion

If your pet seems seriously ill or is rapidly worsening, call an emergency veterinary hospital right away.
